Structural changes in Talent Plastics

Talent Plastics is a fully owned group within O F Ahlmarks Eftr AB. The Groups activities are manufacturing and processing of thermoplastic details. The Group consists of entities in Herrljunga, Laxa, Alstermo and Tartu, Estonia. The headquarters are located in Herrljunga.

Talent Plastics budgeted net sales for the current year is 280 MSEK with 260 employees. The current economic situation has affected the operations and this year all units have been forced to adopt changes to their business. The Groups management has now agreed with the owners and union representatives to implement the following planned changes designed to strengthen and focus the Groups activities for the future:

* The Group management in Herrljunga will be strengthened and a number of services are to be added to the strategic functions.
* In the four entities production and organisation will be restructured and as a result some parts of the activities are planned to move between entities.
* A greater share of extruding activities in Alstermo is planned, so that all focus there will be on this technology.

In each unit, the impact of the planned change will be analysed, processed and negotiated with the interested parties so that changes can be implemented in a rational manner.

With changes in management, organisation and structure, with continued focus on high efficiency and technology and a clear contribution to growth, the Group puts aside defensive measures and invests aggressively in the future.
